  1. Your objectives/ sub questions are getting much better. But I didn't ask you to answer them! Before rushing to find answers you need to specify and justify the ways in which you plan to find the information so that you can answer them (your research methods). So ... Go back to each of your sub-questions/objectives and say in detail HOW you will find robust and meaningful answers.

To answer this question I need to know … how, who, when, why, etc (choose one):

Method: e.g. consult existing research, interview education experts (which ones),

Explanation: I chose this method because ...

Do not at this stage try to answer the questions ...

  2. The reason for working in this structured way is to ensure that you fully understand what is required of your work to be considered as research. It is important that you work through each stage of a task rather than miss out parts or rush to conclusions. Re-read carefully what you were invited to do (question, method, explanation) now look at what you did (question, answer). Do you see the difference?

  3. If you can respond to the first comment before tomorrow that would be very useful for our chat Nusrat. Remember ... no answers! Just questions, ways of finding answers and explanations
